3V 5/9 Geodesic Dome - Standard Hub Kit

This kit is for those who want to build a classic 3V 5/9 dome, and are willing to cut and drill their own struts.  With this kit, you can scale your dome to any size between about 9' in diameter up to 18' in diameter.  Use our Sonostar Standard Dome calculator on the website to get the correct lengths to cut.  These hubs are sized to be used with 1/2" Schedule 40 PVC pipe, available at Home Depot, or any irrigation supply company.  Sonostar hubs are injection molded, with tapered bolt holes, so the bolt heads will be flush when you fasten them together.  All the stainless steel nuts and bolts are included, as well as an illustrated instruction manual and an assembly diagram.
