Our Unique Geodesic Dome Connector Design

What Makes Our Dome Connector Hubs Different?

They say it's what's on the inside that counts. That is exactly what makes our Geodesic Connectors different. Unlike other PVC hub connectors, they are not hollow. They have a solid core specifically designed to be used in building beautiful geodesic domes and spheres. There are two main categories of connectors: Standard hubs, and Mega hubs.

Standard hubs are more often used with smaller sized projects and are made proportionately smaller to accommodate for the smaller PVC pipe. Megahubs are used for larger structures and offer you the strength and reliability you need for larger domes and spheres. Both of our geodesic hub connectors have solid cores providing engineer-tested strength and the ability to drill into them to either attach covers, or to run wires through them or whatever other applications you might need to customize your dome.

What Kind of Structures Can you Build Using Dome Connectors?

Our domes and spheres have been used in a variety of different applications. People have used them to build everything from DIY chicken coops in their backyards to huge event structures. Some have built domes to be used as greenhouses and have had great success protecting their plants. One innovator even used them to mount a Deathstar on top of his house for an eye-catching Halloween decoration. Our spheres have been turned into amazing set pieces for concerts, turned into projection globes for audio visual entertainment, used as observatories and so much more. We give you the tools, the rest is up to you and your imagination.
