2V Geodesic Dome - Mega Hub Kit

The advantage of the 2V Megahubs over the Standard hubs is that you can use larger diameter PVC with them.  They are dual-purpose, able to accomodate 1" schedule 40 PVC on the inside of the hub arms, and 1.5" PVC on the outside of the hub arms.  If your dome is going to be supporting some weight, then megahubs are a good way to go.  This kit only includes the hubs - no struts.  You'll need to cut your own struts to the right lengths, based on the diameter.  The instruction book that is included in the kit tells you how to calculate those lengths, and how to drill the holes for the connecting bolts (also included in the kit).  We don't recommend going any larger than 5 meters (16.4'), but like all Sonostar hubs, they are meant to be scalable, and you're welcome to experiment.
