This is a Simple 4V Geodesic Dome Kit designed for use with 1/2" Schedule 40 PVC pipe. Build a Geodesic Dome greenhouse, silo dome, chicken coop, gazebo, animal shelter, a geodesic party tent and whatever else you can dream up. We offer hub only kits(no PVC) or Hub + Strut Kits that include all the pre-cut color coded PVC struts. Choose whether you would like to order just the Basic Hub Kit and cut the struts yourself, or order the Basic Hub Kit together with a set of precut, predrilled, color-coded struts (Hub + Strut Kit).	To complete a Hub + Strut Kit order simply choose from several options based on the diameter of the finished dome.

The 4V dome is exactly half of a sphere. As the frequency goes up (2V, 3V, 4V, etc.), the 'roundness' of the dome increases, as does its overall strength. There are six different sized struts in Frequency 4 domes, and you can find those lengths using our Geodesic Dome Calculator.

The dome itself can be assembled as a more permanent structure using glue or welding, or you can use to provided nuts and bolts so that the dome can be assembled and disassembled over and over.
