3V 4/9 Geodesic Dome - Standard Hub + Strut Kit

 Sonostar's 3V 4/9 Standard Dome Kits come with everything you need to make your dome frame in this configuration.   This configuration is stronger than a 2V Standard, so for the same  diameter, you can hold more weight.  You also get less height than in an even frequency (2V, 4V, 6V) or a 3V 5/9 frequency dome, if  that's a consideration.  So assuming this is the layout you want, you're going to get a lightweight dome that starts curving in immediately at the base, using fewer struts and hubs than it's 3V 5/9 big brother.  We've seen these used mostly as chicken coops, animal pens, or storage shelters.
